ZANE Crypto Project
The ZANE character was created as the face and meme of the $ZANE memecoin that was launched on Base in late 2024. The $ZANE coin saw short success hitting over 20K market cap within the first couple hours of launch. I was responsible for creating the character along with the promotional material to advertise the coin.
ZANE is the CEO and face of The Based Guys Club which represents anyone who considers themselves "Based". To be Based means to be oneself and confident in your beliefs regardless of what others say, usually combating societal norms.
The illustrations were done in Photoshop and the animations where later created in After Effects using the illustrated assets.
